Here is just a quick update: yes, I am in Iceland now.  I arrived in Reykjavik this past Sunday, and this week has been a time of readjustment, settling down, and getting some rest as well.  I played electric violin with a tight worship team at the local House of Prayer (ICE-HOP ) on Sunday night, and the presence of the LORD came in a powerful way.  Hallelujah!  I am looking forward to more wonderful worship times and just God-times here in Iceland, among friends.  Let His kingdom come and His will be done here as it is in heaven.

As I mentioned earlier, I will seek to post fresh contents to Love’s Rest regularly from Iceland.  I have great internet connection here, so uploading to the web shouldn’t be a problem.  God is good.  Amen!

Samuel worshipping in XN

Come to me quickly

Come to me now

I am here waiting

You are my help

For You have never failed me

You have never let me down

Let me praise You, You are great

Let me seek You, seek Your face

Come to me quickly

Come to me now

You are my answer

I have no doubt

You can wrap me in Your precious love

You can hide me in Your name

You can hold me in Your perfect love

I will never be the same

The Pearl of Great Price

Here is another amazing painting by my friend, Clara Liu.  Read her description of this masterpiece:

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
(Matthew 6:21)

Do you see
Do you hear
Can you feel
When He’s near

You’re the pearl
He came to find

– Heather Clark

Sometimes in worship, I like to put my hands together and open them before God like a flower. Presenting the deepest part of me, I would say, ‘this is for you’. One time I looked and saw that my hands looked like a clam. If I have a hidden treasure in me, if I have a pearl, God, it is yours.

Come to me,
all you who labor
and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
