Here is just a quick update: yes, I am in Iceland now.  I arrived in Reykjavik this past Sunday, and this week has been a time of readjustment, settling down, and getting some rest as well.  I played electric violin with a tight worship team at the local House of Prayer (ICE-HOP ) on Sunday night, and the presence of the LORD came in a powerful way.  Hallelujah!  I am looking forward to more wonderful worship times and just God-times here in Iceland, among friends.  Let His kingdom come and His will be done here as it is in heaven.

As I mentioned earlier, I will seek to post fresh contents to Love’s Rest regularly from Iceland.  I have great internet connection here, so uploading to the web shouldn’t be a problem.  God is good.  Amen!

Yes, that’s right, I’ll be heading back to Iceland (next Sat) and remain there for 2+ months!  As usual, I’ll be working with the church there, doing lots of worship, and teaching, and praying, etc.  You can read my Iceland prayer letter and please do cover me in your prayers.  I’d really appreciate it!

I am planning to keep up Love’s Rest when I’m over there, so you can look forward to more fresh contents in the coming months.  Blessings and happy soaking!

My good friends Bill and Linda Boone, who are Catch the Fire soaking center coordinators for the Northwest United States region, have created a brand-new website at www.burn4him.com

The website contains some great resources about soaking prayer, so just go there and check it out!

A Song of Devotion

This is an amazing painting by my friend Clara Liu in Hong Kong.  When I saw it, I thought it looked liked me as a little boy playing the violin!

Here is Clara’s description of the painting:

One time in prayer, I saw a picture of big crowd of little people running around ecstatically before God. Among them was a quiet little boy with big eyes playing the violin ever so softly. I saw a pair of huge hands extending towards the little boy, picked him up and put him in the hollow of his hands. Completely immersed in his song, the little boy didn’t seem startled nor surprised. He continued playing, as if it has always been that way.

I wept and smiled, because I realised that I am more than noticed.

Please pray for Haiti, for the victims of the earthquake to be miraculously healed, and raise from the dead!  Pray that food/medical supplies that have arrived would be distributed efficiently and effectively to the needy.  And pray for more aid to arrive as well!

Father God, release thousands of more angels to help with the relief and restoration of Haiti!

We need to pray both for God to move supernaturally (in multiplying food, sustaining lives of those who are still in desperate conditions, etc.), and for God to strengthen the human relief efforts organizationally (more resources and trained teams coming in and reaching those in need, to alleviate the crisis)

Here are three trustworthy mercy organizations that you can donate to–

Red Cross, Samaritan’s Purse, and World Vision.

Pray for believers over there who are assisting in the relief effort to minister appropriately with wisdom and compassion.  Amen.

Come to me,
all you who labor
and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
