We had a wonderful night of soaking in Daddy God’s presence last Wed at Tierra Nueva (in Burlington, WA). It was my second time playing with Sara, and it was an amazing set again.
This time, we had a chance to talk beforehand about how we would like to flow musically in the Holy Spirit. How she would create “space” for me to roam freely on my electric violin, and vice versa for her to “solo” more on the piano. Of course, as what we play is all spontaneously improvised, it is hard to “plan” in advance!
It was a very restful, peaceful set, and people were blessed and touched by the LORD. Sara and I played for more than an hour, and we ended up on “Be Thou My Vision” to close the set. I was glad that some of my friends from the Seattle area drove up to hear us, and God did not disappoint them.
Here are some more pictures from that night.
This upcoming Wednesday (12/2/09), at 7:30 pm, I will playing/leading an instrumental soaking set with Sara Wevodau at Tierra Nueva, in Burlington, WA.
I will be playing my 5-string electric violin, while Sara will be on the piano. We are planning to play the same spontaneous, Holy Spirit-led style music as we did last time, when I came up to TN in September.
So, if you are in the area, feel free to come out to soak! The address and directions to TN are at their website, which you can access by clicking on the photo above. Hope to see you there!
I had a great time this weekend ministering soaking worship music on electric violin and electric guitar at Tierra Nueva (T.N.) in Burlington, WA. I was able to have lots of time to soak myself as well. God showed up and His presence was strong in our midst!
Plus, I made new friends, and had some wonderful time of fellowship in the Lord. Praise God! I’d definitely want to come back to T.N. in the future. We’ll see!

There is a Soaking in the Father’s Love weekend coming up this Thurs to Saturday at Tierra Nueva, in Burlington, WA. The soaking team from my church, Word of His Grace, will be leading and ministering in the sessions.
I will be playing in 3 sessions–Thursday night on electric violin with Amy on the harp, Friday night violin with Justin on acoustic guitar and Becca singing, and Saturday morning by myself on electric guitar.
The event is free, so if you can come out to soak in the loving presence of Father God, that would be great! The details are below.

Soaking in the Father’s Love Weekend
This is a weekend for you to spend a lot of time with God and rest in His presence.
We will have intimate worship, and brief sharing on the Father’s love and our intimacy journey. We will then allow plenty of time for “soaking in God’s presence” as a part of each session.
The goal of this weekend is to bring you into deeper intimacy and to facilitate encounters with the living God who loves us.
