Last week, I flew back to China after spending my Christmas holiday in LA with family. It was good to have a little break in sunny Southern California after 2 weeks in Iceland, and now I am back in the cold of winter, in the below-freezing weather of SJZ.

I was very glad to see Ammi and be reunited with her again, and we were able to spend New Year's Eve in BJ, celebrating the arrival of 2012. May this year be a glorious one in the Lord. Amen!

I will be in China until mid-February, and there are much to do while I am here. I will seek to post weekly updates here, so check back for the latest news. Blessings to you in this new year.

I’ve just returned to the US after 1.5 months in China. It is nice to be back in warm, sunny Southern California after living in a cold place with no heat! God is good. Aside from the freezing temperatures, I had an amazing time in SJZ with Ammi, and our relationship is progressing beautifully. Praise the Lord!

I will fly back to China after Christmas, to be with Ammi again, and to minister in various places around that country. But before that, I will be heading to Iceland for a short ministry trip. I am planning to send out an official newsletter soon.

Please keep me in your prayers, for God to strengthen me as I close out this year strong in the Lord, for all the necessary funds to be supplied for these kingdom works, and for His grace and favor, and His hand of protection and guidance, to be upon my life.

trip to { south } china

Earlier this month Ammi and I took a trip to Shanghai, Fuzhou, SongXi, WuYiShan, and Xiamen. Ammi flew on airplanes for the first time in her life! In Shanghai, we met up with Ammi's friend, who took us on a quick tour of the city center.

Upon our arrival in Fuzhou, my cousin Weixin came to pick us up at the airport. We were able to meet my uncle and aunt as well. Ammi had never seen the sea before, so Weixin drove us out to the beach the following day, and it was a wonderful time for Ammi.

Later we went out to SongXi, a small town in the mountains, and I spend 2 days teaching and leading worship for the young people there. We prayed for sick and saw several amazing healing miracles too! Praise Father for His love towards us! I am planning to write more in detail about what happened in an upcoming newsletter. My parents also came out to SongXi and met us there.

Flying back to SJZ the day after our time at WuYiShan, Ammi and I had a stopover in Xiamen, and we took a taxi out to the main harbor, before heading back for our return flight to SJZ. See the harbor shots: http://goo.gl/ymc1a

Overall, we had a splendid time, going to all these different places on a single trip! We met many new friends, and experienced His goodness and blessings throughout. Thank Father =D

introducing { ammi }

I first met Ammi back in April of this year in SJZ. We met at the home group which she is a part of. In mid-April, I was there for several days leading worship and teaching at their home group. We didn't hang out one-on-one during that time, but only in groups. She made an impression on me, so I was thinking about her as I traveled to CD and LZ later that month.

When I arrived in XN a couple weeks later, we got in touch on the web on QQ, the Chinese instant messenger, and our relationship started blossoming from there. We talked almost everyday since then, even as I returned to the US in May.

In July I came back to SJZ, and went with her to see her parents in SMX. She also met my parents in XN. Our relationship became more established during the summer, even as I continued ministering from place to place.

Now I am back in SJZ in autumn, spending more time with her, and still continuing my ministry. It has been an amazing year, traveling to various places, meeting Ammi, getting to know her, and cultivating our relationship. I thank Father God for everything that has happened, for bringing her into my life. We are praying for Father's perfect will to be accomplished in our lives. Please keep us in your prayers as well. crazy summer, glorious autumn

The last time I posted an update I was in SJZ in early August. Now I am posting from SJZ again, this time in late September. You might think I've been in SJZ all this time, but that was not the case.

On 8/9 I flew to Taiwan, and I ministered there (and visited family relatives) until 9/1, when I flew back to the US. I rested in LA for one week, then went up to Seattle for another week, then back to LA, and then back to China.

My international flight landed me in BJ at 4:30 am on 9/22, and I was able to make my way to SJZ later that afternoon, thanks to the faster D-trains that depart from the BJ West Train Station. This time, I will be in China for over 1 month, until 11/12. As usual, ministry sessions are scheduled while I'm here, the soonest events will be in SX in the south, next weekend.

Please lift me up to the Father, for His guidance, protection, and favor over me, and for His plans to be accomplished through me as I follow Him and put my trust in Him. Thanks! I am believing for a glorious autumn, after all that traveling I did over the summer. He is good and may His name be magnified.

extended stay in { sjz }

I was supposed to fly to Taiwan from Beijing yesterday, but by the
grace of His son, I was able to postpone my flight to TW until next
Tues (with no extra airline fees), and remain in SJZ for 5 more days.
Thank Father for providing more time to cultivate a special
relationship!

So I will be arriving in Taiwan on 8/9, and officially begin the
second half of my trip then. I am looking forward to assist in the
expansion of His kingdom during my several weeks there, before flying
back to the US on 9/1. Please keep me lifted up to the Father.
Thanks so much for all your support, I really appreciate it!

Today is my third full day in Chongqing, visiting my cousin Weixin's family here. Though the weather is very hot, it has been a wonderful time of rest for me here. I am eating a lot of great Chinese food! Father is good. During evening times, we have been going out into the heart of the city, into the central districts, for some sightseeing and tourist activities. I took lots of photos, and hopefully I will upload them up here soon.

The next stop for me is Nanjing. I will be flying there tomorrow, and meeting up with my parents for 3 days. Please continue to lift me up to the Father, for safe and smooth travel, good health, and abundant fruit as I release the kingdom into Nanjing. Thanks so much!

I am in XN right now spending time with family. Things are going well. Praise Father! Thank you all for your prayers and support! Will be heading out to the High Speed Rail Station soon. I won't have internet access for the next couple days. Pray that everything will go according to God's plan as I am here in the Far East. Thanks!

From Oregon to Cali, then onto Asia

Hi, here is just a quick update, letting you know what’s been happening since my Oregon post. We did go to Jesus Pursuit church, which was great! Later, after crossing the state line into California, we were fortunate to catch the 2nd half of Bethel Church‘s Sunday night service in Redding. It was my first time at this world-famous church, and God did not disappoint!

After the 4 days, Beau and I arrived in LA at my parents’ place. I took him around LA a bit, showed him some cool places, such as the Getty Center, before he flew back up to Seattle.

I have been down here in LA for about 1 month now, hanging out with my family, visiting various ministries, and hosting another friend (Ola from Iceland) for 5 days. Every week down here has been pretty eventful, including lots of rain! (I had lived in Southern California for 15+ years before, and I don’t remember it ever being so rainy in one month)

Resting in Albany, Oregon

I am writing this post from a hotel in the small town of Albany, Oregon. My friend Beau and I are here, in the midst of a 4 day road trip from Seattle to LA. Tomorrow we will be visiting Jesus Pursuit Church here in town, and heading down to Redding, CA in the afternoon. It has been a restful journey, and I know we will have some extraordinary God-encounters along the way.
